| | What is SmartMatch and how does it work? |
| | | SmartMatch analyzes your activity on the site along with the activity of millions of other members to find high levels of overlap. And, SmartMatch only shows members you have not yet seen.
In other words, SmartMatch finds members that have similar profiles and behaviors as those you have already interacted with. We also provide a score that measures the strength of the match. |

| | What do the red Hearts (score) mean? |
| | | The red hearts indicate the strength of the match. A single heart is still a good match but we may not have enough data to make a stronger recommendation.
If all five hearts are red, you both have been identified as a match for each other. |

| | Why does the "Match Score" change sometimes? |
| | | The more you interact with other members the more confident we can be in our results. As a result, your score may change over time. |

| | What does "Like Him/Her?" and "I like him/her" mean? |
| | | You can help us make better matches by telling us when we got it exactly right. By clicking on the "Like Him/Her?" link, you indicate that this is a good match and allow us to refine our future analysis.
Once you indicate that you like this profile, it will say "I like him/her." You can reset this by clicking on "Undo". |

| | How do I delete profiles from the SmartMatch list? |
| | | You can delete profiles one at a time or as a group. To delete an individual profile from the list, just click on the "delete" link at the bottom right of the profile. To delete a group of profiles, place a check in the box in the upper left corner of each profile you want deleted, then click the "Delete" button.
Deleting a profile from the SmartMatch list does not indicate that you don’t like this match, it simply allows you to manage your list to a reasonable size. |

| | Why is my SmartMatch list empty? |
| | | If your SmartMatch list is empty, it means you have either recently cleared your list or we don't yet have enough data to make any recommendations. We re-analyze your activity every single day so the best thing to do is find profiles you like and start interacting with them. You can view the profile detail, send a smile, send an email, make a favorite, and more.
Note: Each activity carries a different weight in our analysis. For example, simply viewing a members profile carries little weight compared to adding them to your Favorites list. |

| | I am a Basic Member, can I use this too? |
| | | Basic members can only see the photo gallery of the SmartMatch results. This will help you determine whether we were able to find matches for you. You will need to upgrade to a Premium membership to see the full profile information and make contact. |
